The iOS version of Minimal QR is provided by chongyang shi. For technical support or privacy questions, contact seclionys@icloud.com.
Include your app version, iOS version, device model, steps to reproduce the issue and any error message. Redact Wi-Fi passwords, contact details and other sensitive content from screenshots. Do not send payment passwords or your complete QR history.
02. Scanning and photo recognition
If the camera is unavailable, find this app in iOS Settings and allow camera access. You can also open system settings through Camera access in the app. Clean the lens, use adequate lighting and keep the entire code and its surrounding margin in view.
For photo recognition or a logo, select the image using the system photo picker and grant the access requested by iOS. If recognition fails, try a clear original image without blur, obstruction or excessive cropping.
03. Creating, saving and exporting
Create codes for URLs, text, Wi-Fi, contacts, email and SMS. Enter a complete http:// or https:// URL. Shorten content if it exceeds capacity. Test customized codes with a scanner, keeping dark patterns, a light background and enough margin.
If saving a PNG fails, check photo write access and available storage. SVG, PDF, templates and professional batch exports require active Pro access; use the system share sheet to save files to a supported destination. Anyone who scans a code can read its contents; password masking only affects display inside the app.
04. History and deletion
History is stored on your device. Delete individual entries or choose Clear local history in Settings. Clearing removes history and unused history logo copies, but not original photos, exported files, style presets or their logo copies. Save anything you need before deleting it.
The app has no account or cloud sync, and the developer cannot restore your local records. Hide recent history on home only changes visibility; it does not delete data. System backup and device restoration depend on your iOS settings.
05. Purchases, restoration and offline use
Pro offers monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions and a lifetime purchase. Available products and prices are shown in the App Store purchase interface. If access is missing, connect to the internet, use the Apple Account used for purchase and choose Restore purchases on the membership page. Pending or unverified transactions do not immediately unlock access.
Subscriptions work offline until their confirmed expiry; lifetime access supports long-term offline use. If a renewal has not been confirmed after expiry, reconnect and reopen the app or restore purchases. A new device or reinstallation requires online restoration; restoring purchases does not restore history.
06. Cancellation and refunds
Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; see Apple Support for instructions. Cancelling renewal generally leaves access available until the paid period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription, and buying lifetime access does not automatically cancel an existing subscription.
Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable rules; see Apple Support. The developer cannot directly manage your Apple subscriptions or guarantee a refund.
